TMZ reports that Coachella will broadcast — is that the word for it? — a hologram of Nate Dogg during this weekend’s festival, and that hologram will re-enact several of the late rapper and singer’s songs. Apparently, this has some precedent; five Mariah Carey holograms were used for a concert simulcast last year, and I gotta say, hologram technology is literally decades ahead of where I thought it’d be. Though status of Warren G’s performance at Snoop & Dre’s fest-closing set is still up in the air, he basically has to now.
