Dream Seeds is the new album from Extra Life, a New York band led by the elementary schoolteacher and noisy art-rock scene fixture Charlie Looker. Given Looker’s pedigree, it’s not exactly a tremendous surprise that the album is a conceptual affair about dreams and children. We’ve already posted the dark, heady track “Righteous Seed,” and now we’ve got the band’s “First Life” video, which shows the band and various civilians (including some kids) looking extremely waxy and creepy in slow-motion. Sue-Ling Braun directs. Also below, we’ve got a stream of the entire album.

Dream Seeds is out now on Northern Spy.

That is far and away and without a doubt the single worst song I’ve ever heard on this website — and I listen to everything you guys post.
I’m serious. I like all genres of music and will listen to almost anything, and that made my very soul hurt.
That’s odd. I actually kinda liked it. The video was pretty lousy, though.
cool music.not sure about the vocals.
