Purity Ring - Shrines

Before this morning, the Canadian ghostly-synthpop duo Purity Ring had managed to build a serious buzz despite only having released three songs. Today, they bring the grand total to four, and new jam “Obedear” might be their strongest yet. It’s an atmospheric glide with a plinky keyboard riff that reminds me of Game and 50 Cent’s “How We Do,” and it’s the first taste of the group’s debut album Shrines, due this summer. Download it below, and check out the LP’s tracklist. (Yes, it includes “Loftcries,” “Belispeak,” and “Ungirthed.”)

TRACKLIST:
01 “Crawlersout”
02 “Fineshrine”
