On Friday night, expert Swedish pop confectioners Miike Snow appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman, performing recent single “Paddling Out” and bringing a nice lit-up stage setup with them. According to Letterman, their name is just pronounced “Mike Snow,” which is not the way I’ve been pronouncing it in my head these last few years. Watch it below.
Miike Snow’s album Happy To You is out now on Downtown/Universal Republic; but it at eMusic.

Expect to see Skrillex do Letterman next. #Whathastheworldcometo
it’s pronounced ‘Me-Kay’ Letterman!
NERD ALERT: Since they are named after Japanese director Takeshi Miike it SHOULD be pronounced Me-Kay and thats exactly how I pronounced it for all of 2009 until I heard them call themselves “Mike.” It was a tough blow and not easy to make the switch but I’m working on it. I feel you, Tom.
