This morning, ASAP Rocky dropped the video for his swollen, turtle-moving Hit Boy-produced single “Goldie,” and all ASAP videos are pretty much immediate must-watch situations. This one has Rocky driving around Paris while resting his feet on the door of an extravagantly expensive convertible, which can’t be all that safe. It also has lots and lots of naked women. Well, I enjoyed ASAP Rocky back in ’11, but after a handful of listens, his mixtape lost appeal, I think. It doesn’t help that his recent releases don’t show much sign of any significant growth as a rapper.

Well, that was my attempt at humor, but LiveLoveASAP released seven months ago, which is more than long enough to get tired of an album.
Standard hip hop tropes. Boring.
