Ben Folds Five are gearing up for their reunion album, and recently they posted a demo from one of those sessions on Ben Folds’ Facebook page. Head below to download the chorus-less jam “Do It Anyway,” a piano-led cut that grows more and more frenetic and pleading as it progresses.
Ben Folds Five’s new LP still doesn’t have a release date but it’s out later this spring/summer. Head to PledgeMusic to participate in and follow the funding of the project and purchase exclusive BF5 packages.

I missed that fuzzy bass.
The song is alright as a whole, but yeah, that fuzzbass definitely makes it sound like a Ben Folds Five track and not just another Ben Folds track.
Sounds more like BFF, which is fantastic to hear. Never liked even a single second of Ben alone. Can’t wait for the tour, will sell my mother for tickets if I need too. One of the best bands ever.
Oh word. The band is releasing their album through @PledgeMusic.

I don’t think they have any concert exclusives offered as of yet, but if you are into BFF you might be into some of the stuff they’ll be doing. Either way, it’s worth checking back once in a while in case they add any concert related specials.
Digging the track! Now bring on the record. Cool article over at Rolling Stone about the guys. http://bit.ly/OZVo8U.
