Lately, the xx has been out in London playing a short series of intimate gigs, gigs they’ve used to work out some new material. Friday night, they played London’s Battersea Arts Center, and another capture of new songs has surfaced. Here are five tunes, starting with the spare, Romy Croft-led track people were calling “As I Am” and are now calling “Devotion”…

To be fair, these titles aren’t official, it’s just what mthrfnkr decided to call them.
ah, word. didn’t even mean it as a dig–i love these guys, so the xxier, the better, as far as i’m concerned.
These sound great live. I’m high on “Leave”. But yeah, really hoping for some record details sooner than later.
seems like more of the same. I guess that’s what an XX fan would want.
