Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse have been at work on a new album for what feels like forever, and it’s been a while since we’ve heard any news about it. But this past weekend, the band played California’s Frost Revival festival and debuted a ramshackle bounce of a new song called “Heart Of Mine.” Watch a fan-made video of them playing it, seemingly taped from a shithead section of the crowd, below.

Sad to say: No detectable Big Boi influence there.

  1. I want to thank the video uploader for including the audience chatter as an intro and confirming festival-goer stereotypes.

  2. i think i’ll always be a little sad that MM aren’t the trio of brock, judy, and green, especially with the fact that jeremiah has to share drumming duties with joe plumber, but this is a solid jam, hopefully the new album shapes up like this.
