And your cowbell mention is great. Van She did a remix of New Young Pony Club’s “Ice Cream” in which they cranked the goofy hipster cowbell percussion track all the way up. It’s so over the top but it works so well. I didn’t even notice the cowbell in the original version of the song until Van She performed their magic.
Hint…Nothing sounded better in the 80′s that “No Quarter”…
