Savages are a new London postpunk band who approach their chosen genre as a purely visceral churn, one that reminds me of the early razor-tongued Siouxsie And The Banshees. Their new song, the B-side of their debut single, is called “Husbands,” and I’d bet money on that title being a John Cassavetes reference. Listen to it at Soundcloud.
