Is soul-punk just code for “big fans of Social Distortion?” I kid. This is good.
I kept passing this over reading it as “JAILL” and not Jail Weddings, who are pretty good! Glad to see them getting some wider exposure. I bought Love Is Lawless on cassette a couple of years ago, which is beautifully dark and melodic. This holds its own in that regard.
