Three people cross into another dimension in Beach House’s clip for “Lazuli,” a trippy, fluorescent void occupied by Beach House, incidentally. Allen Cordell directs. Watch it below.

Did I just watch both Ghostbusters?
There is no Dana, only Lazuli…
No, I think it’s a Halloween episode of The New Girl.
Not bad, although I think I would have preferred it as a pure performance video, sans the ghostbustery bits.
We trippy mane.
Am I the only person who thinks Beach House is a snooze fest?
Yes.
Heh. I upvoted you. I don’t even know why.
No.
also no
If you think they’re a snooze fest, then you’re not listening to the building chorus at the end of this song.
That’s because I fell asleep. BOOM.
And I’m being honest and literal. I fell asleep.
And I didn’t really mean to be dismissive or a douche. I’ve just never met anyone that doesn’t like Beach House… but they’ve just never moved me.
The imperfection is yours.
Y’know, the words “Beach House” are in the title of this post. Why did you come here?
Because I was giving it a chance. Touchè, though.
no
They are my favorite band, and I love this music video! For real.
I was expecting the “Myth” video. :(
But this is fine, too. :)
Yep.
Ironically, one of the most beautiful songs of the year has one of the ugliest videos of the year.
I think it’s their style. The video for Walk in the Park is also weird and kind of repulsive for a beautiful song like that.
Is that a tribute to The xx from 3:37?
