Not two weeks since Bowerbirds released a video for “Overcome With Light“, the North Carolina trio has released a follow-up, this one for “Sweet Moment,” from their March release The Clearing. Something about the clip reminds me of a Volkswagen commercial (even though I’m pretty sure the young couple at its center are driving a Honda), but it definitely does embody the essence of the song’s title and intent: fleeting instants of wonder that live forever in memory. Check it out.
The Clearing is out now on Dead Oceans.

Tons of respect to the Bowerbirds for making one of the best albums released this year. The Clearing is excellent top to bottom.
I really enjoy this video too. It reminds me of Future Islands video for “Balance” last year.
