Here’s the clip for SpaceGhostPurrp’s “Osiris Of The East,” a shadowy prism of visual whose tone matches the dark, leering attitude of the track. Tim Saccenti directs. Watch it below.
The Chronicles Of SpaceGhostPurpp is out now on 4AD.

Y’all should do a “Where’s the Beef” article on the recent feud between SpaceGhostPurrp’ Raider Clan and the A$AP Mob. I am not sure that many readers will care that much as it doesn’t concern their precious indie bands or the Black Keys, but I think that you guys (Tom and Corban) would at least find it interesting. I didn’t realize the amount of influence SpaceGhostPurrp had on the A$AP Mob from an aesthetic and musical point of view until I looked into the argument a little more. Maybe the influence goes both ways, but SpaceGhostPurrp sent a hilarious tweet of A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg from 2010 before they met him and decided on the style change. Check it out if you haven’t already.
I want to know where the beef is located!!
To Think I thought SGP & Rocky were friends. SGP has the line in “Bringing the Phonk” about passen’ that hoe to Rocky. Then on LIVELOVEA$AP, SGP comes through with a definite highlight/standout with “Keepin It G’”
My Mysterious Phonk vinyl stays close to the plvtter that’s for sure.
