Baltimore electric music eccentric Dan Deacon will put out a new album this August, a release called America that was initially teased with the euphoric and frenetic “Lots.” Today brings another single called “True Thrush,” an exultant, anthemic record that utilizes a backing choir and sounds more warm and human than much of Deacon’s stuff. Stream it below.
America is out 8/27 on Domino.
