Dirty Projectors are in Brooklyn for a pair of shows commemorating the release of their ace LP Swing Lo Magellan. (Last night’s show was at MHOW, replete with a YouTube livestream; tonight they do Prospect Park.) In case you didn’t make it to Williamsburg or to your laptop for last night’s show, we have a few ways you can relive the experience: Click above for photos by Ryan Muir (with many of set opening ex-Ponytail guitar hypnotist Dustin Wong), or below to stream the entire Dirty Projectors set (until 7/11, when it vanishes into the ether). Good options, both.
Swing Lo Magellan is out via Domino. Join the premature evaluation, and here’s our interview with Longstreth, in which he talked about the album and rainbows also.

This HAS to be one of the best live performances ever.
Sweet…just downloaded the whole thing with Download Helper…940mb in 720p. Sounds great so far!
Download Helper is super nice and easy: http://www.downloadhelper.net/\
So far it’s all Swing Lo material…
Wow got in just in time, video is now private…learned my lesson with the Jack White full concert recently.
Private, what the shit? Glad I watched it when I did, some amazing moments during that show! Care to upload or make a torrent??
Sorry not sure what the legalities of that are… :(
Aww, don’t be a wuss. Use a proxy! No biggie tho, they are releasing individual songs slowly on the youtubes. Question: What was the song Amber sang solo toward the end when she hit those crazy high notes and the crowd cheered every time? Thanks.
