Passion Pit’s feverishly anticipated sophomore LP Gossamer arrives next week, and we’ve already spent some time with the early tracks “Take A Walk,” “I’ll Be Alright,” and “Constant Conversations.” Today, the entire album makes its way online. NPR has it streaming, and now we can finally hear how it stacks up to Manners. So let us know in the comments section: How do you think they’ve held up? Have they fallen into a sophomore slump or elevated their collective game? To hear the album, click here.
Gossamer is out 7/24 on Columbia.

If you can’t stand the Frank, stream your album on the internet too
I would be listening to this now, but I saw that NPR is also streaming the new Purity Ring album. So yeah.

quite a pleasant surprise. take a walk has even grown on me quite a bit. glad it’s a strong album!
what in the world is this melody in the chorus of “On My Way” reminding me of? It feels like a Disney song.
Reminds me of a song from Jonsi’s solo album
