Lily Allen posted a new song on her MySpace last night. She mentions the chorus is ripped from the English boy band Take That, that she doesn’t want to bother clearing the sample, and that it won’t “make it on the new album.” It’s a sweet little love song filled with the details of when a new relationship has “just the right amount of awkward.” Think “Could Well Be In” for the ladies. (Note the True Romance promo pic on the player.) Lie in bed all day and listen.

ARRRRRGGGGHHHH. No one bothered to explain her that it’s “Who’d HAVE Known”? My God, that kind of shit drives me CRAZY.
Sorry.
Like Jazzbone, the spelling alone would drive me nuts. Glad it won’t appear on an actual tracklist.
I know it’s prolly mildly illegal, but is there a way to save or find mp3 versions of those lily myspace tracks? The new one, along with “guess who, Batman?” are well worth taking with you on your portable mp3-playing device.
Aaaaargh! It’s should ‘have’ not should ‘of’.
…and just think, this brilliant lady is a hell of a lot richer than you or me! hmm
Lol. I’m pretty sure that she knows PROPER GRAMMAR is who’d have known. But… Songs aren’t meant for proper grammar. :/ They’re meant for expression.
Just because someone writes in the way that they talk doesn’t mean that they don’t know the rules. She doesn’t need ANYONE to explain to her the differences.
We’ve all been to school ;o
Lovely song, though <33
I agree!
