The thing that surprises me though, is that Roger Ebert says Theron gives one of the best acting performances in the history of cinema. That’s a pretty strong statement. One of the best EVER? Now I wanna see it.

Everyone at work has seen Monster and they all agree that her performance is excellent. I’d ignore Ebert’s absurd largesse, however.

Charlize is definitely hot but since I saw Monster, i always see that “hideous” face lurking in her once again pretty face. It is like when you know some cute girl and then meet the father who kinda looks like her and then damn, you see him in her face.
