Last year, David Lynch recruited Yeah Yeah Yeahs leader Karen O to sing on “Pinky’s Dream,” a song from his Crazy Clown Time album. Now Danish dance producer Trentemøller has remixed the track, turning it into an even more sinister synth throb. It’s not all that often that a dance remix reminds me of the Cramps, but this one does. Listen below.

The remix will appear on the digital deluxe edition of Crazy Clown Time, out 8/6 on Sunday Best.

Calling Trentemøller simply a Danish dance producer borders on insulting. His remix of UNKLE’s “The Answer” is one of the most amazing pieces of music to come out in the past five years, and I would dare anyone to try to dance to it.
