Lollapalooza organizers shut down the festival this afternoon as storms approached the Chicago area. According to Lollapalooza.com, “Festival-goers are being evacuated from Grant Park and are being directed by staff and the Chicago Police Department to pre-established underground evacuation and shelter sites along Michigan Avenue.” No word yet on when the site might reopen. Scheduled performances for tonight include Franz Ferdinand, the Weeknd, Frank Ocean, RHCP, and … Washed Out.
