MGMT haven’t played a whole ton of shows lately; their Friday night set at Montreal’s Osheaga festival was their first since April. But they’ve clearly been practicing hard in their time offstage. On Friday, the band covered the Rolling Stones’ “Angie.” It’s not exactly easy to summon the gravitas required to do that song, but MGMT’s version is totally respectable.
