How do you followup singing the far-right leaning first section of “Das Deutschlandlied” at a German festival? “British musician Pete Doherty was fined on Wednesday for walking into a court with 13 wraps of heroin in his coat pocket.” But it was an accident!

wasn’t this like a week ago?

  2. Come on, this has happened to all of us at some point; you put on a jacket or pants you haven’t worn in a while, and you find some money (score!) or a candy (gross) in one of the pockets. The only difference with Pete Doherty is that he keeps different kinds of things in his pockets. Rock and Roll.

    • I do realize you’re probably joking, but I’ll say this anyway. Money and candy are one thing, because they won’t land you in jail! I’m sorry, but if you’re going to court (whether it’s the first time or the billionth time, as in Doherty’s case) YOU MAKE SURE YOU DON’T HAVE FUCKING HEROIN WITH YOU. It may be rock and roll, but it’s also just plain idiotic.

And goddamn, someone really needs to get Doherty help already, because he’s obviously not going to do it on his own. The whole situation is just really, really sad and pathetic at this point.

  3. My friend lives in the flat above Pete on Camden highstreet, apparently he likes to sing his own songs alot and leave post-it notes to his french girlfriend. He’s not really wild. He’s no Terry Nutkins.

I thought ever since his solo album he’s going by Peter Doherty?

I thought ever since his solo album, that it doesn’t matter what he goes by because we don’t care?

This is the latest Doherty-related news:

Heroin at court because you forgot to check your pockets is a little bit funny but this shit really isn’t funny.

(I was glad to read that the documentary was finished, however. Otherwise what was the point? There are tons of documentaries on Pete Doherty – most of them are terrible – Robyn’s promotional videos actually look good.)

I should mention that the Daily Mail is about as reactionary and credible as the New York Post. Thus the long accusatory article written before any actual police work has been done.
