The Georgia indie Graveface is launching a new Charity Subscription Series, a 7″ singles club that’ll send its proceeds to a wide range of worthy causes. The series will include music from people like Mount Eerie, Dosh, Xiu Xiu, and Mike Watt. And the first in the series unites Chicago art-rapper Serengeti with Tobacco, one of the members of Pittsburgh psych-melt enigmas Black Moth Super Rainbow. Their collaboration, “Be A Man,” is a woozily pretty bit of basement-electro weirdness. The 7″ version of the single includes two collaborations between Serengeti and Advance Base, and it raises money for RBI: Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities. Listen below.
The single is shipping now, and it’ll be in stores 8/28. For more on the Charity Subscription Series, check here.
