Flying Lotus will put out his new one, Until The Quiet Comes, in October, a release from which we’ve already heard the Erykah Badu collab “See Thru 2 U.” Today, FlyLo went live with a beautifully-shot short film that utilizes some more new music from the album, include two new tracks called”Hunger” and “Getting There” (both featuring vocalist Niki Randa). Khalil Joseph took the footage around L.A., creating some stirring scenes featuring children and young adults. Watch it below.
Until The Quiet Comes is out 10/2 on Warp.

Such a beautiful short film.
Based on how comfy and settled in I got before viewing, this could have been 15 minutes and I still wouldn’t have blinked.
This album sounds like it will be Flying Lotus’ best to date. October 2nd cannot come fast enough.
I agree, it’s quite impressive. Reminds me of the pacing/style of some of Chris Cunningham’s videos, especially Afrika Shox http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hi0erY0WG6A
I’ll have to keep an eye out for more work by Khalil Joseph. What a talent.
Check out the interview I did with Flying Lotus, during which he breaks down this short film! We also discuss his work with Ms. Badu, Beck, and Schoolboy Q. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tF22DC74fKs&feature=g-upl
