Night Beds is a Nashville-via-Colorado Springs indie rock group that just signed to Dead Oceans, for whom they’ll put out a single today. Led by singer-songwriter Winston Yellen, the group recorded the A-side “Even If We Try” at Johnny Cash’s former Hendersonville home, and the resulting live take resulted in a spare, pretty ode that wears its country and roots influences on its sleeve.
