According to their spare Facebook posts, Queens Of The Stone Age are at work on their sixth LP, the follow-up to 2007′s Era Vulgaris (apparently it sounds “so badass,” according to Eagles Of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes), but in the meantime, we’ve got a new track from the band’s mastermind, Josh Homme. “Nobody To Love” plays over the closing credits of the new film End Of Watch (Homme wrote the song with David Sardy, who composed the film’s score). The track features Homme’s twin signatures: his razor-sharp guitar/bass crunch and moody crooning. Plus a mention of pills in the chorus. Good stuff. Give it a listen.

what an incredibly incorrect statement
Jesse Hugues is always suckin on Homme’s balls in every interview, even if he did not for Era Vulgaris (can’t remember where I read this, maybe it was on them crooked vultures). What I mean is that his opinion means shit.
Apart from that I like both men’s music very much. Just sayin Hugues is the guy thats gonna sell you anything with a bright smile and a “fuck yeah it’s the best rock album in years”.
Anyway, I’m slowly realizing every little critic in any comment section here is getting massive downvotes.
Oh I forgot, Era Vulgaris is a weak album and the only qotsa that I haven’t on cd or vinyl.
*doesn’t mean
EV has a couple killers tracks but I’d agree it is their weakest effort yet. I do like it but quality of songwriting wise, I would understand why most people don’t like it.
I feel like Jake Gyllenhaal has had that look on his face for few movies now. Maybe it’s time to change it up, buddy.
“for a”
foray
That makes no sense, dude!
how about you get a life instead of correcting peoples sentences on a music website
Uh, “people’s sentences”? I was correcting my own typo.
“No pill gonna cure my ill”: Haha, he pinched a Robert Palmer line.
