Earlier this summer, we posted “Pink Ruff,” the first single from a new album that Philly garage-pop crew Bleeding Rainbow (formerly Reading Rainbow) were planning to release this month. Well, that album, Yeah Right, has been pushed back; it won’t be out until early next year. But here’s a pretty great consolation: A furiously catchy piece of fuzz-rock sugar called “Drift Away.” Hear it below.

Well, I suspect the rest of 2013′s releases will seem rather anticlimactic after this.
By the way, if you go to one of their shows, you should see if they are still selling their tour tape because it’s really good as well, a more lo-fi affair with mostly instrumental songs.
