The cat apperances completely ruined what was a good video. I still find Spike Jonze to be a bit overrated, and this attempt at originality by adding the cat dance scene was amatuer at best.

I totally love how the video has a very dream-like kind of epic feel to it … it looks like it could be a real movie, or something (and Bjork always looks so strange anyway that it all fits really well together) … now what is Spike Jonze’s next project again?
I don’t really agree with Bjork and Spike Jonze being labeled “uncool”. And even if they are, you can’t say with any honesty that they’re “over”. If anything, Spike Jonze is more mainstream now than ever, and once you get to that point it’s hard to culturally disappear, at least in the tabloid sense. You’ll never stop hearing about either one of them, probably for your entire life.
Embrace it.
Medulla was no Vespertine, by any means… but that video Spike directed with all of the kids playing with the dog corpse and cutting each other’s arms off was actually one of my favorite videos of his. Come on, that video rules, ult.girl.
