We’re about a month away from the release of the Trent Reznor-scored videogame Call Of Duty: Black Ops II, but in the meantime, Trent has dropped the first bit of music from An omen_, the forthcoming EP by How to destroy angels_, the band featuring Reznor and wife Mariqueen Maandig. (Underscores and sentence-case structure in all titles are the band’s own annoying constructions.) The track features Maandig’s silky, spooky voice in front of a glitchy, rumbling instrumental track; Trent comes in on backing vocals soon after the 2-minute mark. An omen_ is out via Columbia on 11/13, coincidentally (or not?) the same day Black Ops II hits stores. Check out the song below.
