Crystal Castles’ III is one of the most anticipated releases of the fourth quarter, and after much buildup, it’s set to drop next week. We’ve already heard three songs from the album — “Plague,” “Wrath Of God,” and “Affection” — plus a live instrumental track which may or may not be “Telepath.” And now, one more: “Sad Eyes” is the least abrasive song to emerege from III; Alice Glass’s delivery has a decided dream-pop quality to it, although the beat below her gauzy vocal retains the band’s usual chaotic frenzy. Check it out.

III is out 11/12 on Casablanca/Fiction/Universal Republic.

And by TODAY, I mean Nov 7.
