At a Los Angeles show last week, the mysterious Californian rap newcomer Captain Murphy finally revealed his identity: He’s actually Flying Lotus, the guy who produced Murphy’s debut track “Between Friends,” putting vocals on his own tracks for the first time. And he’s got bars. At that same show, Murphy was joined by a very different sort of rap enigma: Earl Sweatshirt. Below, check out a fan-made video of Earl and Captain Murphy, the latter in a spangly gold cape, performing “Between Friends.”

Don’t forget Murph’s “Duality” mixtape. FlyLo bangen’ out a mixtape is just as good as it sounds.
Duality is a really great mixtape, the fact FlyLo is responsible for the guise makes it 10x better too
With the “Duality” video coming out first and then Earls video for “chum” just being released it seems like hip-hop is still standing strong. If you havent seen “Chum” chek it out: http://www.earlsweatshirt.com/
