Lunice is a Montreal producer and half of the great duo TNGHT, and lately he’s been giving more and more of his hectic, blood-pumping quasi-rap instrumentals to actual rappers. Rockie Fresh is a young, laconic Chicagoan who recently signed with Rick Ross’s MMG label. And on “Superman OG,” the first single from Rockie’s forthcoming Electric Highway mixtape, they make a surprisingly strong pair, with Rockie riding Lunice’s forever-shifting pound like it’s the easiest thing in the world.
