“You (Ha Ha Ha),” the new Gold Panda-sampling single from London dance-pop sensation Chari XCX, now has a video, and a small army of stylists must’ve had a very, very good time putting it together. In the clip, Charli and friends take over a warehouse to party and fire submachine guns, and Charli shows an absolutely dangerous level of charisma. Ryan Andrews directs. Watch it below.
The “You (Ha Ha Ha)” single is out 2/10 on Asylum.

Dear Stereogum,
Is it possible to get Charli XCX for yr SXSW party?
Sincerely,

What does Gold Panda think of this crap ?
“i just got a ton of money for this sample”
have to admit i am not so keen on this one. i am not particularly fussed about the fact it’s sung over a gold panda track, some great songs have come about this way (björk – i go humble and heirloom are both sung over other people’s instrumental tracks and i love those) it just doesn’t have that massive hooky epic chorus i’ve come to expect from her. looking forward to the album though.
As a dance-pop single, i respect it for that.
Puts Gold Panda back in the spotlight. Where’s the new stuff at holmes? You were showing so much potential.
