Twinkling Swedish twee-dance diva Sally Shapiro will release her new album Somewhere Else next month, and we’ve already heard first single “What Can I Do.” For the next single, “Starman,” Shapiro lined up a guest appearance from Electric Youth — also featured on College’s “A Real Hero,” better known as the best song on the Drive soundtrack. “Starman” is a light and airy synth track that will not make you think of David Bowie (or Jeff Bridges). Listen to it below.

Somewhere Else is out 2/26 on Paper Bag.

Whoa. WHOA!!! Tom!
“Nightcall” was the best song on the Drive soundtrack.
My vote goes to “Under Your Spell” by Desire, although I like the album version better than the soundtrack one.
liking the new Sally track, a lot more like the stuff from her debut.
