The Portland band Wampire traffic in the sort of queasy, staring-into-infinity indie-pop that’s been proliferating ever since Ariel Pink became everyone’s favorite influence to cite. Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s Jake Portrait produced the band’s debut album Curiosity, out later this year, and its first single is “The Hearse,” a morbid little bop. Listen below.
