The Portland/New Zealand tricky psych trio Unknown Mortal Orchestra return in two weeks with their sophomore album II, and the two early singles we’ve posted “Swim And Sleep (Like A Shark)” and “So Good At Being In Trouble,” both clean up the sounds from the band’s first album, putting them in a more straightforward pop context. Today, we learn whether that’s true of the entire album, as all 41 minutes of it are streaming online. Listen to it below.

II is out 2/5 on Jagjaguwar.

This sounds pretty hipster in its own right. Saw them live with Grizzly Bear and they were outstanding.
Already downvoted to death. Why is this system even in existence? It turns comments section in circlejerk.

You got tits on your avatar. I’d give em an 8.3
I don’t see any tits there. It’s the Kate Bush’s Wuthering Heights single cover.
Better than Lonerism, IMO.
i already dig it
I really liked their ST but this one is doing nothing for me so far. Too loose, too soft. I’d like to take their best features and mix them with the best features of White Denim. I want to listen to that fictional band so hard.
