New Jersey psychedelic experimentalist/University of Wisconsin-Madison Anthropology and Ethnomusicology PhD student Julian Lynch has released three albums of woozy, textured, folk-inflected dream-state pop, and his fourth, Lines, is due out in March. “Carios Kelleyi I” will be included on Lines and it is a wonder: a rippling, amorphous gem that seems to exist on the edge of consciousness. Listen.
Lines is out 3/26 via Underwater Peoples.

Sounds like another small step towards a more ‘mid-fi’ sound up from the ‘death valley-fi’ vibes he’s slowly been emerging from with his past releases. Digging it pretty well so far and looking forward to consuming some Lines on the reg.
