Cold Mailman - "My Recurring Dream" video

This spring, the playful Oslo studio-pop band Cold Mailman will release their third album Heavy Hearts, and the video for first single “My Recurring Dream” is something you should click on even if you’ve never heard of the band. Directed by André Chocron, it’s a series of dizzying tracking shots that employ a ton of different techniques (time-lapse, backwards film) and show fantastical scenes of underwater dancers, apocalyptic landscapes, skateboard commutes, and mysterious women on trains. It’s got that “Virtual Insanity” sensibility — hypnotic enough to keep you glued, complicated enough to keep you wondering how they pulled it off. Watch it below.

Heavy Hearts is out in April, ad the “My Recurring Dream” video is out 2/4.
