Last year, the Knife announced Shaking The Habitual, the long-awaited full-length follow-up to 2006′s Silent Shout. A small clip of a new track “A Tooth For An Eye” has surfaced on the web — a much less hefty taste than the massive “Full Of Fire” — and it promises a lot of quirky material from the duo. Check it out at LeMusicassette. (via SPIN)

Sounds pretty good. Fun sounds of Deep Cuts mixed with the dark vocals of Silent Shout.
Why a small clip when you can download the whole thing courtesy of Grampa Sloth: http://www67.zippyshare.com/v/68227476/file.html
AND yes it is amazing, gets me pumped for the album Waaaaaay more than Full of Fire did.
Oh Slothy, you’re the best.
Thanks much.
Thanks, Sloth! Yeah, I definitely like it more than “Full of Fire.” Love the synth action going on with this one. Feels even brighter than the poppier tracks on Fever Ray.
It’s not Silent Shout, but it’s damn good. I like the part where it chirps and goes WHOOOSH
Peculiar transition from this track into “Full of Fire”
Love it as an intro but it doesn’t really build to or hint at the pummeling that awaits the listener one track later. Gives me the sense that this album will be a lot of curve balls and 180s from track to track. Dare I say The Knife’s “White Album” ? A dense album of songs with varied stylistic shifts from song to song?
I LOVE the percussion break down at the end of this song. I think Olof is going to be flexing his musical chops on this LP.
