VH1 just aired the debut episode of a new show, “For What It’s Worth,” exploring “the intricate world of music and pop culture memorabilia” from the perspective of “the collector.” The debut features Jack White and is set at the Third Man Records HQ in Nashville. White discusses the “Triple Decker Record,” a format he came up with three years ago. White is a vinyl enthusiast; he was recently named the official Ambassador of Record Store Day 2013. 1. It surprises me that so many people are surprised that Jack White is a genuinely nice, likeable and down to Earth human being. I mean, the fact that he’s funny, I can understand that being a surprise. But what has the guy ever done to create the impression that he was unfriendly or stuck up?

    • Me, I’m not nice. So I will say something like, jesus fuckcicles in a laundry basket in a corn field in Iowa! How fucking sad is your life that you would cyber stalk me on Stereogum? Seriously, you give new definition to the word loser. My nuts! Swing on ‘em!

      • WTF is going on here?

        • Some worthless, no life havin’, baboon faced cunt follows me around and puts a down vote on everything I post here. Some days it doesn’t bother me, because honestly, votes either way hold no real value (in my life or the world in general). But some days it bugs me, and my above post was one of those days.

  2. bababoey to you all

  3. fuck off.

  4. Originally read the headline as “Watch Jack White on VH1, for what it’s worth.” Also accurate.
