Sam Beam’s Iron And Wine will release a new album called Ghost On Ghost, and we’ve already heard the curiously jazzy first single “Lovers’ Revolution,” as well as live versions of a couple of other joints. And now Beam has shared another one called “Grace For Saints And Ramblers,” a song that advances the impression put forth by the others: Beam is in an exploratory place right now. “Grace For Saints And Ramblers” is partly a straightforward singer-songwriter number, but it’s intricately orchestrated with strings and horns, and it rides a rhythm that’s as quick and unsettled as a hummingbird. Stream the song at Rolling Stone.
Ghost On Ghost is out 4/16 on Nonesuch.

Haha, Iron & Wine joints…That’s a perfect way to describe his songs.
This and Lovers’ Revolution are both promising that this will be a better album than Kiss Each Other Clean. Though that one had a couple great songs on it as well.
