Halified sent me some cool photos he took with his new camera at the Polyphonic Spree and Futureheads shows.

POLYPHONIC SPREE 2.15.05 @ WARSAW

THE FUTUREHEADS 2.22.05 @ BOWERY BALLROOM

Man, that Spree sure is colorful. Anyway, Hal is available for weddings and Bar Mitzvahs: halified@hotmail.com.

And check out Brooklyn Vegan for recent live pics of Antony & The Johnsons, Damon & Naomi, Mike Doughty, and Devendra Banhart.

I haven’t been to a show all week. Which means I’m extra excited for Monday … Luna’s last show ever (the band, not the lounge, though I’ll miss both.)

I’m looking at ohmyrockness.com and so many shows are already sold out. Remember, buy tickets early! You don’t wanna be the only kid in school without a Go! Team pin.

ALSO, my lovely fiancée would like me to post this message from Leyna Noel, who we saw open for Mirah at the Bottom Of The Hill a few months ago. Recommended!

I love the second Spree shot because you can clearly see the infamous custom mic that got drummer Brian Teasley followed home by Homeland Security or whoever. I’m so glad they’re still using that thing.

speaking of upcoming shows and such, is anyone planning on going to the maximo park/nine black alps show at the mercury lounge or the feist (leslie feist from broken social scene) show at joe’s pub?
