Sister Crayon’s sultry indie is in full bloom on “Floating Heads.” The band has skated away from their MPC-laden rock into a place of deep bass and steady drums, which suits up perfectly with opera-trained singer Terra Lopez’s gorgeous, calming voice. Very exciting track – I couldn’t predict what was around the corner- the changes and switch ups will keep you on your toes but then the rhythmic heart beat will calm you again – dreamy but not soporific!
Been following them for the past few years. I’ve seen them live 3 times & Terra’s voice as great as it sounds on their recordings has NO COMPARISON to the force of nature her voice & performance are live! A MUST SEE. Loving this epic new song.
