lots of info about Bruce’s latest there.
As much as I love B.S. (Bruce Springsteen that is), I can’t bring myself to listen to anything streamed by AOL. Sigh…
Someone’s going to get offended but this sounds, er, not unlike solo Don Henley. And I’m not sure that’s a good thing. It’s an okay song.
Kind of sounds like Springsteen on autopilot, not too different from the lesser tracks on The Rising (which I generally loved).
I do like the part where the backup singer says “AOL First Listen” in that husky voice. WTF?

AOL Dude Remixes are so hott these days.
New Ryan Adams tune posted, playing over his newly re-designed, less crazified website:

Very Blue Rodeo meets… well, Blue Rodeo.
New Springsteen: “Devil’s & Dust”
For real? That’s the title? With the inappropriate apostrophe?

Do you remember the AOL commercials in the early 90′s with the AOL guy (the guy whose voice they used for all that “File’s Done” and “You’ve Got Mail” crap)? It said something stupid like, “My friend told me I should get AOL. I said, “Why? I already have a computer!” I spit milk thru my nose when I heard that.
Oh dang — I was hoping I could bust Springsteen’s chops over that.
Total class from Bruce .But then you wouldn’t expect anything less.
