i just picked up the 15 gig ipod in soho today. the minipod doesn’t interest me because i dont want to be bothered with something that doesnt hold more songs, and esp. for that price. although i do like the new faggot colors.

Anyway, I don’t really approve of this new line. I do like the colors (though I’d stick with white, since it matches my iBook and I’m a whore), but it’s ridiculous that a 4 GB iPod mini costs $250, when a 15 GB iPod only costs $300. Aside from, say, WOMEN, who would ever buy the mini? Especially when it’s not even that much smaller than the normal iPod? I think Apple’s really shot themselves in the foot with this one.
I was really anticipating buying these as presents for people, sort of like an Apple equivalent of a gateway drug, but there’s no way at that price. MAYBE if it was $150 or less.

i got an ipod but i can’t set it up. i tried to plug it into my compiter so the i-tunes stuff would magically transfer, but nothing happened. it just said ‘don’t disconnect,’ but then the songs never got transferred to the ipod. what the?
