“So who here doesn’t know about it? Everybody knows what I’m talking about? Don’t know what I’m talking about? Know about the airplanes in America? … That’s why things are little bit mute tonight. I’m sorry about that. This is called ‘Paranoid Android…’”

Between Oasis, Beck, NIN, Dino Jr., and now this Radiohead gig, my iTunes is rocking all ’90s nostalgia today. (I’m even looking forward to that acoustic Jagged Little Pill CD.) Thinking about having my birthday party at Nerveana next week. Anyone been? Is it cheesy-fun or just cheesy?

    They need a torrent.

  2. yeah, when I tried downloading the first song, it said it would take 30 minutes…and I’m on broadband!

speaking off 90′s nostalgia why don’t you leak some new weezer. Nobody has leaked it yet, how can this be?!

Dude…WTF…the sound quality is shite and some of the songs are incomplete. But I don’t have this show, so I guess I won’t bitch. For those who want to hear an amazing RH show…try to get your paws on 07/04/00 gig. Amazing show performed in Germany. Soundboard fuckin’ quality.

  6. been there. quite a memorable night. it rained. it was cold and people were crying. very impressive show.

  7. try to get a copy of the recent 5 song acoustic set thom yorke did last week. features “no surprises” and 4 unreleased radiohead songs, including “last flowers til hospital”, which moves me everytime i hear his solo rendition.

I recently read ‘Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ and was amazed by how much the story influenced the lyrics/concept of ‘OK Computer.’ It makes sense; the books were incredibly popular in England (even made into a radio show). It’s easy to imagine it making an impression on a young Thom Yorke. Has anyone else read the series and felt this? There’s even a character named “Marvin the Paranoid Android” in it.

  9. FYI, some of the links are broken or the hosting is down.

  10. Any ideas on how i can get my hands on the new NIN before I see him at coachella next weekend? I plan on buying it…but wanted to prime myself for the show

Does anyone know what the markings next to the songs on the setlist represent? Just wondering…

Thanks to Goldenfiddle and Stereogum, the server has been overwhelmed and those of us on Glide’s original email distribution list are now unable to d/l this.

    Thanks guys

Sorry, annoyed, guess only you ‘special’ people should be able to download music.

    FYI
purelivegigs.com has 6 or 7 radiohead performances including 07/04/00 and 3 acoustic sets of jonny and thom

  18. holmes, you seem to be implying that you’ve heard “last flowers” before. what other renditions are there?

  19. henry  |   Posted on Apr 23rd, 2005

actually, the hitchiker’s guide to the galaxy began as a radio series and was later made into a set of books. but yea, theres some correlation
