Sorry for tricking nine thousand of you into downloading “Vibeology.” Here, lemme make it up to you. Or here, here, here, here.

“When someone comes up to you and asks which Led Zeppelin album they should buy, you should say Physical Graffiti,” Dave tells NME. “And, in 20 years, when your kid comes up to you and asks which Foo Fighters album he or she should buy, I want you to say In Your Honor.”

Who in the hell keeps comparing Foo Fighters to Nirvana….They dont’t even want to be compared to Nirvana and they arn’t trying to be. If some of you would quit bitchin about Gaterade for 2 seconds and at least just sit there and feel the emotion in the song. Because thats what this song is about if you would pay attention to it. Emotion and Feeling. I have heard the rest of the cd…..its a great cd with all that classic and new Foo u want…a harder rocking Foo this time. But I saw too…I don’t see any of you with bands….with record deals….out there doing anything but being critics. At least the dude is writing his songs and its coming from here….When he starts having everyone else write them just to have a commercialized radio hit….then I’ll drop off the Foo Fighters band wagon. Peace! StOnE

    to that guy who sed
“if Grohl hadnt been in Nirvana … the Foo Fighters would be as popular as someone like Local H or Collective Soul … lots of radio hits but no zest”
i liked fooeys before i liked nirvana, dave grohl is a champ, nirvana got him off the ground but he would still rock without em

Some people are just born fucking stupid. This is a very good song. Dave is one of the best and most down-to-earth musicians in our generation. There is Nothing Left to Lose is my favorite Foo album because of all the emotion it brings to me when I listen to it.

Whoever said this song sounds like Creed is a genius. Moron.

i think this is an awesome song!! grabs you right in the gut – drags you through the entire song, makes you bleed, cry, laugh, scream in pain till the end ..
Then you get up – after all that – and you want more ..
So you play it again .
    AWESOME SONG!!!

Also to comment on the statement “if Grohl hadn’t been in Nirvana the Foo Fighers would be as popular as Local H or Collective Soul, lots of radio hits and no zest.” I’m a very big Local H fan. How many radio ‘hits’ did they have? “Bound For The Floor” is the only one I can think of.

  7. For The last time everyone, success is not measured in being on a major label. Believe me major labels make music feel like a product. Everyone has the wrong impression in thinking you need major label contract to be successful. Its quite sad to think you need to perform music on this grand scale level involving TV,Radio, large promotion.

Who’s comments are you referring to? I don’t recall anyone insinuating that record sales equals credibility.

Foo Fighters got some skills, there’s no question about that. I love Grohl’s mature attitude about it, let’s just be as creative as we can, have some fun, if they don’t like it f***k em. But there is simply no parallel between them and any of Led’s stuff. ‘Best of You’ is great but will be forgotten quickly, ‘Stairway to Heaven’ is immoral.

Umm just wondering. It may sound stupid but that matt gut who wrote about “who the hell keeps comparing the foo fighters to nirvana”, well is it just me or is that guy matt stone from southpark??? and the foo’s still rock

Holyshit, you guys have shitty taste in music. Foo Fighters on a whole is a sucky band. I can understand 14 year olds loving them. And this new song is seriously cliched tripe. Only Foos first album was acceptable, the rest has been rubbish.
How can one compare Nirvana and Foo Fighters. Thats like comparing Stanley Kubrick and Michael Bay.

  15. AK47  |   Posted on Jul 30th, 2005

Time for you retards to shut your idiotic mouths. How do you even dare to compare Nirvana to this piece of shit mediocre band? What fucking loser says that grohl was the best thing in Nirvana? It’s Kurt Cobain that had a talent to influence millions for generations ahead. Foo Foo fighters licks balls. Dave grohl is just a good drummer, and mediocre everything else. FFF to Nirvana is the same as Darth Vader to a gayass startrooper. Every time I listen to best of you I wanna puke. What a shitty fuckinjg song.

  16. foofightAizit  |   Posted on Aug 6th, 2005

why are you guys comparing nirvana to the foos?
nirvana has changed the way we look at music; for better or for worse, and we have to accept that
foos are a great band, color and the shape is a kick ass album, but they havn’t achieved the “level of influence” nirvana made on music. im not saying they have no chance, but saying they havn’t made the impact nirvana has.
anywayz, the new album in your honor is awesome, and i expect more quality stuff from the foos in the future
