    8. Wow!  |   Posted on May 31st, 2005

Could this lineup be any more boring? Snooze fest.

    9. Shawn  |   Posted on May 31st, 2005

They should get Matthew Good to go with this lineup.
That show could be the kick his US career needs.

    10. Man, seriously, VHS or Beta is one of the worst bands I have ever heard.

The bands this year are bands I would probably see if they were playing around my area but would not make a special trip for.

    11. its kind of gross that the us army is a sponsor for this.

Whoa! I do agree the lineup is snoozefest EXCEPT for Q and Not U. I had a friend push them on me for a whole year until I finally saw them live – so amazing!

They are a definite must see…

maybe this year i wont get drunk, get heatstroke and then pass out face first in the sand…

    14. are you kidding? Dungen are amazing and totally worth the trek out to Coney Island alone.

    15. Yes, Q and not U is great, but they tour a lot and I’ve seen them at least 4 times. And I’ve heard some Dungen, and it’s cool, but not worth the bus fare and standing in the hot NYC sun.

    16. I heard Bryan Adams (that dhude from Whiskeytown) might headline? That would be sooo schweet to hear “Summer of ’69″ under the Coney Island sun.

    17. The lineup will never be as great as 2002 which featured Sleater-Kinney, the Shins, Les Savy Fav, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and more y’alls

Morningwood!!! This band, while not as widely know as some others, is probably one of the best live bands out there. They and The Dears alone are worth spending the day out there.

It’s Ryan Adams who was in Whiskeytown.
