I drove past that accident yesterday on my way to dinner. It was pretty gruesome. There was police tape all over that strip mall parking lot (just East of the Sushi Roku on 3rd in LA). I must have missed the collision by 5-10 minutes. When I drove past there was a white sheet over the passenger side of Lohan’s hood and windshield and she was standing in front of the liquor store, close to 3rd street. 3rd is being resurfaced right there so one of the cars probably lost control across the uneven surface.

i hate miss lohan as much as the next person, but i was rear-ended at about 55MPH yesterday, the day of my high school graduation. car accidents aren’t a joke – i HURT. lindsay shouldn’t have to put up with that, even if she does suck. i’m glad that the guy has actually been charged with being reckless – serves him right. all i’m saying is that it’s fine to hate lindsay and mock her clothes and lifestyle, but it’s a bit twisted to joke about/insult her for being in a car accident!

I mean come on ppl, show some respect, or atleast realize how serious the situation was. True the accident could have been worse, but just think how you would feel if you were followed every second of your life by complete strangers, and then one of them crashes in to you when you try to get help. I dunno, I personally would be scared and shaken up. Also, I would be very upset that my car of 6 months or so, is was completely fucked up by some idiot trying to get a picture of me shopping. Hey pple! I just want to add a few comments here to make you think more thoroughly about this. Like a few of you have mentioned a car accident is a scary and sometimes traumatic experience no matter how small it is. I was in one and I still get flashbacks sometimes. If we have never experienced something then maybe we should not be judging people because we don’t really know. Most of you who have a little understanding have had some type of expirience with accidents first hand or from a second source. I do like Lindsay Lohand, the old one of course, she has changed so much. I like her songs, the new ones are different as others have mentioned she does not seem like herself lately. However, just because we do not like her or she has changed does not mean we should hate her and wish her death. Also we must understand that being in the media is tough and there are a lot of pressures exerted on well known people. Who knows how we would act if we were on her shoes. I think most stars do change once they become famous. They have to live up to others many others’ expectations and that is TOUGH! I ask you all and many will completly ignore me but still I’m doing my share. DO NOT BE JUDGEMENTAL. When we are, we make many wrong assumptions and are unfair and WE DO BLAME THE VICTIM. Although I think LLO needs to stop losing weight and earn some, I don’t think she enjoys exercising and not eating. Most people like food, that is one of the reasons we eat besides hunger. I wonder if we could be as thin as her howmany of us who are criticizing her would be THAT thin. I know I would be very tempted with all the pressures on the female body and thiness. We are very superficial people who like beauty and being beautiful is part of famous peoples’ job. Some of you assume she is in drugs, a whore, etc. but those are just assumptions. DO YOU REALLY KNOW? Probably not. If she does do drugs and sleeps around SO WHAT? It is her life, she knows what she is doing, although it if this is true it may be as a result of the tremendous pressure that she faces. But who are we to be blaming her for this? We all got our own issues, so let’s concentrate on our issues and let other people live their lives instead of making their lives more bitter than they already are. Another question that came to mind as I was reading all these sad comments is, if LLO was a guy, this is hard to imagine, but would all of you be accusing her of being a whore? Too Skinny? Probably not. We are all surrounded by a lot of sexism and although we women are victims of it we also reproduce it, we must stop this cycle. It is not only up to men. We are part of the problem. We are harsher to each other sometimes, instead of giving a helping hand. Anorexia and Bulimia are more commonly women’s problems, men usually don’t have that pressure to be super thin. Opposite of that, they need to be strong. How come we don’t complain as much when people are too strong. Like when Arnold “The Terminator” was on steroids and had huge muscles that was excessive and yet people were not making such a fuss wishing him death. In writing this my intention is not to criticize you all at all, but to help you see the complexity of our lives. The SHIT that we are surrounded by like hatred and sexism and pressure. PLEASE DO THINK ABOUT THIS. It is easy to make assumptions and draw conclusions especially of things or people we don’t know, that is totally “normal” but it doesn’t mean it is nice or ok to do so. Sorry If I’m starting to sound like a parent, I’m not I’m young too, but I’ve learned a lot already.
To LINDSAY LOHAN: Linsay being a known actress and singer means you are under lots of pressure, we all make mistakes, I’m not saying you’ve made any, but it is understandable that you have changed. However, I like many others prefer the way you sung and acted before. You have no doubt grown and changed and it is hard to always live in the past, but take care of your self. People will always be nosy and want to know about your life and wish you ill things, but you must ignore all this, it is impossible for everone to like you. Although many people make dislike you, think about all those who watch your movies and buy yours cds. Although fans are very important for your career, do not forget about yourself. Ignore people and LIVE YOUR LIFE the best you can. I don’t know if this is of any help, But do not be discouraged. YOu seem like a nice young lady, yet i do not know you. I know you are busy, and I don’t know if you will ever read this, but if you do and if you have something to say or if you need someone to write to, to relieve all that tension, write to me.
